1. Flat press bronzing

Flat pressing hot stamping is the most commonly used hot stamping method. The hot stamping machines are mainly pneumatic hot stamping machines and servo motor hot stamping machines.

The surface of the product that needs bronzing should be a flat surface, an arc surface, or an irregular curved surface, and the bronzing version should be consistent with the shape of the surface of the product that needs bronzing, that is, if the product is flat, the bronzing version is flat. If the product is concave, the bronzing version is convex in the same shape. The graphics that need bronzing are all made under the bronzing plate, and the bronzing film is transferred to the surface of the product at a certain temperature, pressure, and time.


2. Round press bronzing (hot)

The hot stamping plate is cylindrical and is generally made of silicone material with moderate hardness. It is often called a silicone wheel. There is line contact between the product and the silicone wheel.

It can be piping hot on a flat surface (round ironing, as shown in the structure diagram above). It can also be hot on round products (round hot round), if the equipment is a piece of special special-shaped equipment, the products can be square, oval angle, cone, and other products.


Technical requirements for bronzing process


(1) The technical requirements of bronzing largely depend on the preliminary shape design of the product, so when designing the product, the following points need to be followed:

* The raised height of the pattern or text shall not be less than 0.75mm;

* The line width of the pattern or text is not less than 0.25mm;

* The line surface of the pattern or text is arched along the width direction, and the height of the central arch is less than 0.15mm;

*The side of the pattern or text cannot be hot stamped;

*The distance between the pattern of text and the sidewall of the product is not less than 6.5mm;

* The line of the convex pattern located at the bottom of the inclined wall of the product, the distance from the bottom of the inclined wall is not less than 1.5mm;

* When multi-color hot stamping, the raised heights of different color graphics and text should not be equal, and the distance between adjacent sides should not be less than 1.0mm, so as to prevent the rubber hot stamping plate from expanding and touching the avoid surface;

* For large flat plastic parts, the flatness of the surface to be hot stamped should be ensured, and defects such as bending, warping, twisting, shrinking, depression, or protrusion should be avoided;

* For box-shaped and frame-shaped large plastic parts, generally hot stamping the side, should avoid deformation such as bending and twisting, and avoid large cone angle on the side. The cone angle α is generally 1°~3°. In addition, the corners should be Avoid sharp edges and corners (for example, the minimum value of R is 1~2mm);

* Special attention should be paid to the design width of the concave characters when hot stamping. Although the hot stamping version can be as narrow as 0.1mm, the design support effect of the too narrow hot stamping version is not good, and it is easily deformed during the hot stamping process. There should be a gap of at least 0.15mm or more between the single side of the word width and the hot stamping plate. It is not recommended to approach the limit value in actual production, otherwise, it will greatly affect the service life and product defect rate of the silicone hot stamping plate;

*When hot stamping products with a larger aspect ratio, such as one-time hot stamping with a flange on the lid of the powder box, it is recommended to verify the actual capacity of the hot stamping equipment first. Different hot stamping equipment can provide different rotational torque, and the larger the length ratio is. For products, there will be obvious deformation due to sudden pressure rise at the corner position, and a partition groove is usually designed for isolation.


(2) The parameter settings of different equipment are different. For example, for a circular pressing and circular hot stamping machine, since the pressing part is in contact with the printing line, the set hot stamping temperature should be higher than that of a flat pressing circular hot stamping machine or a flat pressing flat hot stamping machine. . Under normal circumstances, the temperature setting range of the round press and hot stamping machine is 190°C to 220°C, the temperature setting range of the flat press round hot stamping machine is 130°C to 150°C, and the temperature setting range of the flat press hot stamping machine is 100°C. ℃~120℃. Of course, the hot stamping time, hot stamping temperature, and production efficiency are also largely restricted by the transfer performance of the anodized aluminum foil.
