The surface of zinc alloy dies castings have a dense surface layer, but the inside is an open porous structure. The polished workpiece must be surface treated as soon as possible, otherwise, it will soon be crippled by moisture and acidic substances in the environment.
Zinc alloy dies castings are generally polished and electroplated. In addition to electroplating, it can also be used for electrophoretic paint or oil spray. Which process is used depends on the product price and surface color requirements.
