In the testing standards for PET plastic bottle caps, there are clear requirements for the sealing performance of the bottle caps.
According to the different uses of bottle caps, there are different regulations for the measurement methods of airless caps and air-containing caps. If there is no air cap, cut off the anti-theft ring (strip) of the bottle cap and use it to seal with a rated torque of not less than 1.2NM. Test with a seal tester, pressurize it to 200kPa, keep the pressure under water for 1 minute, and observe whether it leaks. Air or trip; pressurize the air cap to 690kPa and keep the pressure underwater for 1 minute to observe whether there is air leakage. Then increase the pressure to 1207kPa and keep the pressure for 1 minute to observe whether the cap has tripped.
