Post-processing of cold-extruded products:
(1) Cold-extruded products need to be cut afterward.
Cut off part of the remaining material to get the punched parts of the design size, and the inner wall mouth will be chamfered to become the punched product. Generally, round products are cut through a knife wheel, and square products are finished through rotary cutting.
(2) Preparation of cold extruded aluminum pellets.
The production requirements of cold extruded aluminum pellets are very detailed and strict, with certain flatness, surface roughness, and precision requirements. Generally, blanking processing and shearing processing are used. The upper and lower ends of the aluminum particles must be flat, and the top must have a certain curvature.
(3) Cleaning treatment of aluminum particles.
(a) Surface treatment and drying of aluminum particles are very important to the appearance quality of cold extruded products. The aluminum pellets need to be cleaned and dried before cold extrusion.
(b) The cleaning process of aluminum particles is to add alkaline cleaner in the drum to remove the oil stains on the surface and the burrs on the edges of the aluminum particles, and then rinse them with water and dry them.
(c) The working principle of the roller: the aluminum particles are put into a rotatable cylindrical sealed cabin and an alkaline cleaning agent is added. The sealed cabin rotates clockwise to drive the aluminum particles to collide with each other to achieve the purpose of cleaning and removing burrs.
(4) The aluminum pellets after drum cleaning need to be rinsed with tap water until no obvious foam are generated, and then enter the oven for drying.
